indeed it is an hdmi cable, just idk how to get it set up; every time i plug it into the tv, it goes off.....

i love how microsoft pulled a mcdonalds....when i was little there were 3 sizes of drinks: small, medium and large...but mcdonalds wanted to seem like they were giving you more so it became medium, large and extra large....

BUT microsoft would not be outdun..

when i was little it went : BRONZE, SILVER, GOLD (gold being the BEST!!!!!)

so when you buy the xbox they say "hey dont sweat it, this comes with the GOLD online package"...and you think "gold online pack?, thats cool"

they FAIL to mention that their new scale goes : GOLD, Platnium, Diamond or whatever...lol props to the marketing guys at xbox!!!

good luck getting the HDMI to work and as lookin said, stop by every so often please.

Make sure you seXbox is setup for HDMI and your TV. but other than that google it.

first; it's not my birthday. I just bought it with some.....loose change...

second; I'm not going anywhere...

third; i don't know how to set up the hdmi.... i went into options and saw HDTV settings, but it wouldnt let me click on it through my composite AV cable..... and whenever I just put in the HDMI instead, the TV recognises that there's a cable in it, but says something like "not compatible" or something.... idk.....

you must select HDMI output on your xbox..or it will put the signal out the other way...then reboot the xbox,

then find the 'input select' on your tv, should be "cable, input#1,input#2, hdmi" select hdmi...

I was looking over the 360 manual to see what kind of connectors it used, and that thing is complicated! How many different AV connection options could they possibly offer!

Anyway, I don't see any reason why you aren't getting signal to your TV, unless it doesn't support 1080. Does it play any other HD content, like satelite/cable? .

Yea check to see if your Xbox is Outputting 1080p if it is try 720p instead that might work.
